We have been learning how to identify the place value of whole and decimal numbers. First we had to identify different place value columns like 10s, 10ths and hundredths. Next we learnt how to expand whole and decimal numbers. To make sure we understood what we were learning we had to create a success criteria on how to expand whole numbers and decimal numbers.
I found this work difficult at the beginning because I didn’t understand the different place value column but once I communicated with my group it was a lot easier because we got to talk about our own ideas.
