During lockdown we got to choose what to post about for blogging so I decided to write a 100 word story. This story was based on this image from Pobble 365 “The Frozen Palace”.
I thought this would be interesting to do for a blog post because I enjoy writing narrative stories. It ended up being easy to write and good to do when you’re bored.
What are you doing during quarantine?
Hi Gail, good to see you keeping busy during lockdown. I love that you chose to write a 100 word story, I know how much you enjoy them. You used some very good descriptive words but my favourites were, "fresh aroma of the wind". Reading that I can smell the crispness of it.

I really enjoyed reading your 100 word story blog post because you gave me something to write about and you have used a lot of detailed words which made me want to read more, for example “the group trudged leisurely through the thick snow.” There is a lot more but that was just an example. Something you could possibly work on would be to find more complex and detailed sentences (not saying you don’t have any just giving you something to do to make it a bit harder.) I really enjoy just scrolling through you blog to see any other interesting things that I could comment on and maybe also blog about. Keep up the good work and stay safe. Ka kite!
