Sharing My Knowledge On Statistical Investigations

The last few weeks in Te Ngahere we have been learning how to explain steps of a statistical investigation. The first step was to look for a question which introduces the topic of our investigation next was to organise and gather our data  by using two columns from our census sheet and comparing them. Lastly we had to create a graph and table that clearly states our results. When we started this I thought that it would be really difficult throughout because i’ve never tried maths related to statistics but it was actually really simple once I understood each step of the investigation.

Did you know that scientists use statistics to keep track of all most everything? eg: to measure which transport  system uses the most toxic fuels to help others to reduce the use of those fuels.
