For the last few weeks in Te Ngahere, instead of basic blogging we got to create at least two stories that must contain exactly 100 words. This is my third story and it is based on the image from The wave on Pobble 365.
The feeling in your stomach like your blood has turned to ice, the thrill, the thought of near death is what some people crave in their lives. The split second of panic. Excitement overpowered every other emotion in their bodies. This is one of those moments, their breathing hitched as their limbs stiffened, paralyzed with fear. They watched the huge, unilluminated wave eagerly raced to shore, the bottom of it frothed as it moved rapidly. Their stomachs did a backflip as the wave edged closer, the only thing they could do was wait. The feeling of excitement was now gone.
